Tournament Structure
 
Brackets
You will need to make brackets. There are eight players per bracket. If you have an odd number, one player gets a 'bye'. It is a double elimination tournament. In the first round, winners stay in the 'Winner's Bracket'. Losers move to a 'Loser's Bracket'. If you lose two head-to-head matches you are out of the tournament.

Whoever wins in the preliminary rounds goes to the final round. All winners begin with a clean slate (no score). For example, if you have 48 people you will have 6 finalists.

Tournament Prizes
I try to give all participants a prize, restaurant coupons, hats, key chains, etc. Secure two Big prizes for the tournament winner and the person who raises the most money. We have secured Big prizes from vendors and local businesses such as scuba trips, equipment and gift certificates. I give players in the final round a smaller prize such as an underwater light, knife, etc.
