We have Two sessions to offer this summer.
June 19 - 29 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
July 24 - August 3 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Each session will run Monday through Thursday for two consecutive weeks.
The cost of the course is $250.00, which includes the book, classroom sessions, pool time, and use of equipment. Students will need to supply their own mask, fins, and snorkel for the class all of which are available in our retail area.
The camp will provide each student with the skills needed to become a PADI certified diver.
The camp is divided into 3 segments, each under the direct supervision of a PADI certified instructor.
Academics - the academic portion involves classroom instruction and review of the text.
Skill Performances - in the skill section, students will learn and perform diving techniques in our heated indoor pool.
Open Water Dives - finally, in order to complete the certification each student must do four open water dives.
We have many open water weekends planned for this summer. Students also have the option of going on a trip if they would like to complete their certifications in a more exotic location. We will be going to the Bahamas in June. We can also arrange private trips if they are preferred over the group destinations. Please register by June 12 for the June scuba camp. The registration deadline for the July session is July 17.
If the scuba camp dates or times do not fit into your schedule, you may want to consider joining one of our regular classes. These are conducted in the evenings or on the weekends. Private lessons are also available.
