You are invited to join Central Coast’s PADI Seal Team. It is our newest scuba program for kids. What is a PADI Seal you may ask? A PADI Seal is a member of the PADI Seal Team. PADI Seals are kids just like you, only they know how to use scuba gear to breathe underwater.
How do you become a PADI Seal?
To sign up you just call Central Coast Dive Center. We have meetings once a month on Wednesdays from 4:30-6:30. You will go scuba diving in our swimming pool and do pool dives called AquaMissions. A PADI scuba instructor will lead your AquaMissions and teach you what you need to know. When you finish AquaMissions 1 through 5 you become a PADI Seal and get your Seal membership card. You can be very proud when you become a member of the PADI Seal Team. You get to invite your friends and family to come and see you scuba diving. The first five AquaMissions will cost $299.00. This cost includes the book, video, logbook, mask, fins, and snorkel.
Specialty Missions
After you’re a PADI Seal Team member, you get to do even more AquaMissions. Here are the specialty AquaMissions you can try as a PADI Seal Team member:
| · Creature ID Specialist | · Environmental Specialist |
| · Inner Space Specialist | · Navigation Specialist |
| · Night Specialist | · Safety Specialist |
| · Search and Recovery Specialist | · Skin Diver Specialist |
| · Snapshot Specialist | · Wreck Specialist |
Your instructor can offer more specialties. Each Specialty AquaMission will cost $35.00 plus the cost of materials needed for the particular specialty.
After you become a PADI Seal, and you complete ten speciality AquaMissions, you’re a PADI Master Seal Team member. A PADI Master Seal is the highest rating you can get on the Team. Plus, you qualify for another really cool membership card!!!
